Our Client is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to work within a high-performing secondary school in Ipswich. This is a senior role within the finance team suitable for an experienced school finance professional who is confident working with budgets, financial systems and reporting requirements. The successful candidate will lead on daily transactional finance, support the preparation of management accounts and ensure robust financial controls are in place.

This 11 to 18 comprehensive has approximately 1250 pupils and consistently strong academic results with 92 percent achieving grades 9 to 4 in English and Maths. The Senior Finance Officer will work closely with the Finance Manager and School Business Manager helping to oversee accounts, reconcile statements, monitor departmental budgets and support year-end and audit processes.
