About the Role

  • Support delivery of Biology, Chemistry and Physics practical lessons across KS3–KS5.
  • Preparing chemicals, solutions and apparatus.
  • Supporting teachers during demonstrations.
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring safe storage.
  • Setting up and clearing away practical resources.
  • Carrying out laboratory safety checks and updating risk assessments.
  • Monitoring stock and ordering consumables.
  • Ensuring compliance with COSHH, CLEAPSS and Health & Safety.

You will play an important role in keeping practical science engaging, accessible and safe.
