Psychology Teacher – Ipswich
A well-established school in Ipswich is looking to appoint a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Psychology Teacher from September. This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about Psychology and enjoys encouraging students to explore psychological theories, research, behaviour, and contemporary issues.
The successful Psychology Teacher will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons and support students through KS4 and KS5 Psychology, helping them develop strong subject knowledge, analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to evaluate psychological research and theories.
You will join a collaborative department with a supportive approach to teaching and learning. The school is committed to helping students achieve strong academic outcomes while developing their confidence and independence as learners.
The position is open to experienced teachers, with applications also welcomed from ECTs who have the appropriate subject knowledge and training. Overseas-trained teachers with a recognised formal teaching qualification may also be considered, subject to UK eligibility requirements.

Experience and Qualifications:
Psychology Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5
Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
Strong knowledge of Psychology and relevant examination specifications
Ability to deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to supporting student progress and achievement
Legal ability to work within the UK
