The Role

Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3βKS5.

Develop students' understanding of physical and human Geography.

Build confidence with maps, data, graphs, fieldwork and geographical skills.

Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

Encourage students to use real-world examples in their written work.

Bring current affairs and geographical issues into lessons.

Support field trips, fieldwork and extracurricular Geography activities.

Encourage students to think critically about the world around them.
The Candidate
We're looking for an enthusiastic Geography Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a positive approach to teaching.
A relevant degree and teaching qualification would be desirable, with experience teaching examination groups an advantage.
You'll be able to support students who find geographical terminology or data analysis difficult while challenging stronger students to develop more detailed explanations.
