The Opportunity
An exceptional school in Camden is looking for a French Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department in January 2027.
This role would suit someone who enjoys sharing their love of languages and helping students build confidence in speaking, reading and writing French. You’ll be part of a team working to keep lessons engaging and support students in achieving their best.
The Role
You’ll teach French across the relevant key stages, helping students develop their language skills and understanding of French-speaking cultures.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging French lessons.
- Developing students’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
- Helping students build confidence with vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
- Preparing classes for assessments and GCSE examinations, where applicable.
- Marking work, monitoring progress and giving constructive feedback.
- Encouraging students to participate and use French as much as possible.
About You
You’ll be a qualified French Teacher with strong subject knowledge and the ability to make language learning enjoyable and accessible. You’ll have high expectations for your students and know how to encourage them to keep improving, even when they find the subject challenging.
