A busy secondary school in Redbridge is looking for an organised General Administrator to join its support team. You'll provide day-to-day administrative assistance across the school, helping maintain accurate records and ensuring staff have the information they need.
The Role
Maintaining pupil records, databases and electronic filing systems.
Preparing letters, reports and general school correspondence.
Supporting admissions, attendance and pupil record updates.
Processing paperwork and checking information for accuracy.
Responding to telephone calls, emails and internal enquiries.
Supporting HR and finance administration where required.
Assisting with meetings, school events and general office organisation.
Maintaining confidentiality and following data protection procedures.
About You
You’ll be proactive, methodical and comfortable working with sensitive information. Previous administration experience is essential, and experience within a school or education setting would be an advantage.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently are important. Knowledge of SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom would be useful.
An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the school's safeguarding procedures.
