A well-led primary school in Redbridge is seeking a thoughtful and skilled SEN TA to join the SEND team from January 2026. The SEN TA will support pupils with a range of additional needs, deliver targeted programmes, adapt resources to aid access and help implement behaviour and sensory strategies. This SEN TA post in Redbridge starts January 2026, with induction and handover planned prior to January 2026.

The appointed SEN TA will assist the SENCo and teaching staff to monitor progress, support inclusion at lesson and social times, and assist with transition arrangements. Responsibilities
  • Provide daily one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEND.
  • Implement planned interventions and track their effectiveness, reporting to the SENCo.
  • Adapt teaching materials and provide in-class scaffolding to support access to the curriculum.
  • Support social skills groups, sensory strategies and pastoral interventions during the school day.
  • Prepare concise handovers and contribute to review meetings and transition planning in Redbridge.

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND and delivering interventions as a SEN TA.
  • Empathetic, organised and able to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and parents in Redbridge.
