About The Role
We're looking for a History Teacher to join a welcoming, ambitious secondary school in Redbridge, East London.
You'll join a collaborative Humanities team, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, and helping students investigate evidence, weigh interpretations, and build well-argued conclusions with curiosity and confidence. Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver inspiring, well-structured History lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.

Bring the subject to life, from medieval and early modern history to modern world events and source analysis, in ways that challenge and engage every learner.

Develop students' skills in evidence, interpretation, and argument to prepare them for exam success and further study.

Assess, track, and support student progress, using data to shape your teaching.

Contribute to the wider life of the department and the school community.

Uphold high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times.
Requirements

A degree in History or a closely related field.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.

The ability (or readiness) to teach History at KS3, KS4, and KS5.

Genuine passion, drive, and a commitment to helping young people succeed.
