A successful Primary School in the London Borough of Redbridge is seeking an experienced Data Manager to join its dedicated support team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and analytical professional who enjoys working with data and understands the importance of accurate information in supporting school improvement.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the school's management information systems, ensuring pupil, assessment and attendance data is maintained accurately and securely. Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will manage all aspects of the school's data systems, produce detailed reports on attendance, attainment and progress, coordinate statutory returns and support colleagues with the effective use of management information.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining pupil records
- Processing admissions and leavers
- Managing assessment data
- Producing reports for governors and senior leaders
- Supporting timetable information where required
- Ensuring all data complies with GDPR legislation
You will also provide guidance and training to staff using school systems, continually review reporting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across the school's administrative functions. The successful candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, advanced IT skills and previous experience using school management information systems such as Arbor, Bromcom or SIMS.
