A friendly and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Hounslow is seeking a dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join its Early Years team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support young children with additional needs in a nurturing and structured learning environment.

The Role

Support will be provided on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will help children to:

  • Access learning through play-based activities
  • Develop communication and interaction skills
  • Regulate emotions and behaviour
  • Build independence and confidence

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised SEN support aligned with EHCPs and individual plans
  • Support access to the EYFS curriculum
  • Use visual timetables, routines, and sensory strategies
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Support transitions throughout the school day
  • Assist with personal care and toileting where required
  • Observe, monitor, and record progress
  • Maintain safeguarding and health & safety standards
