We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Cobham, starting as soon as possible. This is a key role supporting pupils as they consolidate learning in Key Stage 1 and prepare for the transition into Lower Key Stage 2. The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across all subjects, tailoring your teaching to meet the needs of all pupils. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum
- Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners
- Maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Promote independence, resilience, and positive behaviour
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and Key Stage 1 colleagues

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
