A well-resourced Surrey primary with a thriving nursery is seeking a caring Nursery Teacher to start in January 2026. The Nursery Teacher will prepare the environment and planning prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and be in post teaching from January 2026. We want a Nursery Teacher who champions play-based learning and strong early communication.
The nursery benefits from outdoor space, experienced early years staff and a family-focused ethos. The Nursery Teacher will receive mentoring and EYFS CPD from January 2026 and will work closely with the Reception team to ensure smooth transitions.
As the Nursery Teacher, you will create stimulating indoor and outdoor provision, deliver short adult-led sessions to promote language and motor skills, and liaise closely with parents. The Nursery Teacher will keep clear records, plan focused next steps and support transition into Reception after January 2026.
We seek a qualified Nursery Teacher (QTS/EYTS or equivalent) with strong early years practice and empathy for young children. The Nursery Teacher must be available for planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to start teaching from January 2026. Experience with toddlers and two-year-old provision is desirable.
