We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sociology Teacher to register for daily supply work across Surrey.

The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Sociology Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Surrey.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the needs of local schools.

Assignments can range from individual cover days to short blocks, allowing you to continue teaching while maintaining control over your schedule.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Sociology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to develop independent opinions and analyse society from a range of perspectives.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver well-structured Sociology lessons across the relevant Key Stages.

Sociological Understanding: Support students in developing their knowledge of key theories, concepts, research and contemporary social issues.

Critical Analysis: Encourage students to evaluate evidence and develop clear, well-supported arguments.

Discussion & Debate: Create opportunities for students to discuss different viewpoints respectfully and confidently.

Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment.
