The Opportunity
We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Physics Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Surrey.
This is not a permanent or full-time position. Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations, and the requirements of local schools.
Daily supply allows you to choose when you work while continuing to make a meaningful contribution to students' education. Assignments may range from individual cover days to short blocks of supply, providing plenty of variety without the commitment of a permanent role.
The Role
As a Daily Supply Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Physics lessons while maintaining a positive, safe and purposeful learning environment.
Classroom Teaching: Deliver clear and engaging Physics lessons across the relevant Key Stages, adapting your approach to suit different classes and abilities.
Practical Science: Where required, support practical activities and demonstrations while following appropriate laboratory and health and safety procedures.
Classroom Management: Establish clear expectations and maintain a calm, respectful and productive classroom environment.
Assessment & Feedback: Support students in developing their scientific knowledge and understanding, providing appropriate feedback where required.
Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with staff, and ensure students remain focused and supported throughout the school day.

Daily supply teaching offers excellent flexibility. You can choose individual days or accept assignments over several consecutive days depending on your availability.
You may work across different schools and experience a variety of classroom environments, making this an ideal option for teachers who enjoy meeting new students and colleagues.

What We Are Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.
