Our Client is looking for a History Teacher to work within a high-performing mixed secondary school based in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a full-time position to start from January 2026.

History Teacher required to work on a full-time basis in an excellent mixed school in Newcastle. The successful History Teacher will teach across KS3 and KS4, joining a department that combines academic rigour with engaging, discussion-based learning.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Be enthusiastic, inspiring and passionate about the subject
  • Have excellent subject knowledge
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Legal ability to work within the UK
