Job Overview
The successful candidate will teach History alongside broader Humanities provision and will play an important role in delivering a broad, engaging curriculum.
This position would suit a History specialist who enjoys working across Humanities and wants to contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach History across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver selected Humanities lessons where required
- Plan engaging and challenging learning sequences
- Support GCSE preparation and intervention
- Assess pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities

Candidate Requirements
- QTS and a relevant History/Humanities qualification
- Strong secondary teaching experience
- Good GCSE History knowledge

- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
