An independent school in Buckinghamshire is seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join its pastoral and inclusion team from September. Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant school leadership experience
- National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or willingness to complete it (where applicable)
- Experience supporting students with SEND in a school setting
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practice
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
Desirable
- Previous SENCO experience in an independent or secondary school setting
- Experience supporting EHCP processes and liaising with external agencies
- Strong pastoral or inclusion experience
