We are working with a highly regarded Outstanding secondary school in Hertfordshire that is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher (ECT) to join their successful department from January. This is a full-time, permanent role, offering an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to begin their teaching career in a well-supported and high-performing environment.

The Role

You will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering structured and engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The department follows a clear and well-sequenced curriculum with shared planning resources, allowing ECTs to focus on developing strong classroom practice and subject confidence. As an ECT, you will be supported through a comprehensive induction programme, including a reduced timetable, regular mentoring meetings, and protected time for CPD. Support is practical, consistent, and focused on long-term development rather than short-term pressure.
