You would be working in a successful Humanities faculty teaching History across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department delivers a broad and engaging curriculum focused on British, European and world history, helping students develop strong analytical thinking, source evaluation and independent enquiry skills.

Students are encouraged to think critically, debate historical interpretations and engage confidently with key historical events and themes. Lessons are discussion-based and designed to develop analytical thinking, essay-writing skills and independent learning.

The department works collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and support students of all abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes. Teachers are encouraged to contribute positively to enrichment opportunities including history clubs, educational visits and wider school activities.
