You would be working in a successful Business and Economics department teaching Economics at GCSE and A-Level. The department has a strong academic reputation and consistently achieves excellent outcomes across KS4 and KS5.

Students are highly engaged within Economics and enjoy exploring real-world economic issues including inflation, global markets, government policy and international trade. Lessons are designed to develop analytical thinking, independent research and evaluative writing skills while encouraging students to apply theory to current affairs.

The department works collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted intervention and enrichment opportunities. Teachers are encouraged to contribute positively to wider school life through enterprise events, revision programmes and extracurricular activities.
