The successful Year 2 Teacher will deliver a sequenced Year 2 curriculum, secure progress in reading, writing and mathematics, and lead SATs preparation and transition activities where applicable. The role
As Year 2 Teacher, you will: plan day-to-day lessons, lead phonics reinforcement and small-group catch-ups, moderate assessment with colleagues and report to parents. The Year 2 Teacher will participate in phase meetings, contribute to curriculum development and support whole-school enrichment activities. The role is based in Hemel Hempstead and the successful Year 2 Teacher will be expected to commence in January 2026, joining the independent school’s induction programme from January 2026.
