A high-performing academy in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a PE Teacher for a permanent full-time appointment, with an additional responsibility available for the right candidate.
You will teach a broad PE curriculum and support GCSE or A-Level groups according to experience. The academy wants students to develop technical competence, tactical understanding and a positive attitude towards lifelong physical activity.
There is scope to lead an area of extracurricular sport, fixtures or enrichment, making this an appealing opportunity for a teacher who wants to develop their leadership profile.
Candidates should be confident teaching mixed-ability classes, able to organise practical lessons safely and capable of motivating both highly active pupils and students who are less confident in sport. A relevant teaching qualification is expected.
