The Role

  • Position: KS1 Class Teacher (Year 1 or Year 2 – based on experience)
  • Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
  • TLR: Available for subject or key stage leadership (for the right candidate)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Use formative assessment to support pupil progress and plan effectively
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and independence
  • Work closely with your year group partner and wider team to share planning and best practice
  • Communicate clearly and constructively with parents and carers
  • (If applicable) Take on a leadership role for a subject or key area within the school
