The Opportunity
Do you enjoy practical work and have an interest in Design & Technology? A high-performing secondary school in Harrow is seeking a DT Technician to support its department on a full-time, permanent basis.
You’ll play an important role in helping teachers deliver practical lessons, ensuring workshops are properly equipped and students can work safely on their projects.
What You'll Be Doing

Preparing materials and equipment for practical lessons.

Assisting teachers with workshop setup and classroom resources.

Checking tools and machinery are safe and ready to use.

Maintaining an organised workshop and storage areas.

Keeping track of materials and equipment.

Carrying out basic maintenance and reporting any issues.

Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a practical mindset who takes pride in keeping things organised. Previous experience working with tools, machinery, workshop equipment or within a school would be an advantage.
You should be comfortable following safety procedures, managing your workload and supporting staff in a busy school environment.
