A visionary and accomplished Science specialist is required to lead the Science faculty at a pre-eminent independent school in Dorset from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent leadership opportunity for an experienced practitioner ready to oversee a high-performing department and drive academic excellence across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

The Role
- Providing strategic leadership for the Science department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and student attainment across all Key Stages.
- Designing and overseeing a stimulating curriculum that challenges high-attaining pupils and prepares them for competitive university entries in STEM and Medicine.
- Mentoring and developing a large team of subject specialists and technicians, fostering a culture of professional scholarship and collaborative planning.
