Our Client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school near Hatfield. The successful applicant will become part of a collaborative department that is committed to delivering an engaging and ambitious Science curriculum.
The position would suit a teacher who is passionate about inspiring young people and enjoys making Science accessible, challenging and relevant. You will be expected to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons that develop studentsβ scientific knowledge while also encouraging curiosity, analytical thinking and practical skills.
The successful Science Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics as appropriate to their specialism and experience. The department benefits from a well-planned curriculum, supportive colleagues and a strong focus on student progress. You will be expected to contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and the wider development of the department.

Experience and Qualifications
- Science Teacher with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
- Experience teaching within a secondary school environment
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
- Strong classroom management skills
- Commitment to raising student achievement
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- ECTs and overseas-qualified teachers with recognised teaching qualifications are welcome to apply
- Legal ability to work within the UK
