Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare apparatus, chemicals and materials for practical Science lessons
  • Support the delivery of experiments across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure resources are organised and stocked
  • Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety and COSHH regulations
  • Clean, maintain and safely store equipment and chemicals
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and demonstrations where required
  • Order resources and manage inventory levels efficiently
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the Science department
