The Role

The successful ECT of Science will focus primarily on delivering high-quality Physics lessons up to A-Level, while also contributing to Key Stage 3 Science. You will join a highly academic department, receiving expert guidance from subject-specialist teachers to successfully complete your ECT induction. The ECT of Science is responsible for overseeing complex practical laboratory sessions, ensuring the boys are challenged to think like real scientists. This full-time cover role offers an immersive experience for the ECT of Science seeking to teach ambitious, well-prepared students. The school expects the ECT of Science to contribute to the unique co-curricular life of a boys' school, such as running a STEM club or robotics initiative.
