Core Responsibilities

Exemplary Instruction: Delivering high-challenge PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities for Key Stage 5 instruction (A-Level PE or Level 3 BTEC Sport).

Practical Coaching: Lead high-quality coaching sessions across a diverse range of disciplines, including invasion games, athletics, gymnastics, and outdoor adventurous activities (OAA).

Theoretical Rigour: Teaching the academic components of the sports curriculum, including anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, and sports psychology.

Extra-Curricular Leadership: Driving a vibrant after-school sports programme, coordinating fixtures against local Hampshire schools, and managing academy teams in regional competitions.

Holistic Wellbeing: Promoting the importance of physical literacy and mental health, encouraging every student to find a lifelong passion for physical activity.
The Successful Candidate We are looking for a practitioner who leads by example and is passionate about the transformative power of sport. Requirements include:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related discipline.

Proven Track Record: Evidence of delivering high-attaining results in examined PE courses (GCSE/BTEC) and a commitment to raising participation levels.

Versatile Expertise: The ability to coach multiple sports to a high standard, with a particular interest in developing the academyās primary competitive sports.

Relational Excellence: A teacher who can build strong rapport with students, motivating them to move beyond their comfort zones and develop leadership skills.
