A welcoming secondary school in the Hampshire area is seeking an organised and proactive Examinations Officer to join its support team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where organisation and attention to detail make a real difference. You'll be responsible for delivering a smooth and professional examinations process, helping students perform at their best while ensuring all procedures meet national regulations.
The Role
Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, and invigilators, you'll coordinate all aspects of internal and external examinations throughout the academic year. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and administering examination entries and timetables
- Ensuring compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations
- Organising and deploying a team of examination invigilators
- Managing secure storage and distribution of examination materials
- Supporting access arrangements alongside the SEND department
- Coordinating results days and post-results services
- Providing guidance to staff, students, and parents throughout the examinations process

The Successful Candidate
