An established Good primary in Guildford is recruiting a creative and compassionate Year 1 Teacher to join its KS1 team on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The Year 1 Teacher will be supported by an experienced phase leader and will begin planning and induction in the run up to January 2026, ready to teach as a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher from January 2026.

As the Year 1 Teacher, you will deliver high-quality phonics, guided reading and early writing lessons. The Year 1 Teacher will create an organised, stimulating classroom where talk, vocabulary and number confidence thrive. The Year 1 Teacher will use formative assessment to track progress and run targeted small-group interventions. This Year 1 Teacher role is Full-Time and permanent, and the school offers a strong induction package in January 2026.
