The Role
- Leading and managing the Science faculty, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and student attainment across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Designing and overseeing a stimulating curriculum across KS3 and KS4, while providing strategic oversight for A-Level delivery.
- Mentoring and developing departmental staff through professional learning, peer observations, and collaborative planning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A strong honors degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Proven experience as a successful teacher at all Key Stages, with a track record of achieving top grades at GCSE and A-Level.
- Previous leadership experience (e.g., Key Stage Lead or Second in Department) or a clear readiness to step into a Head of Department role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a professional, resilient approach to school leadership.
