The Role- Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across a range of material specialisms
- Supporting practical workshop lessons with a strict focus on health, safety, and machinery protocols
- Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback on design portfolios and practical outcomes
- Working collaboratively within a supportive DT team and engaging fully with ECT mentor sessions
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026
- A degree in a Design & Technology-related subject
- Successful placement experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge, CAD/CAM familiarity, and confident workshop practice
- High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
