A high-performing and well-regarded 11–18 school in Gloucester, with 1,100 students and an “Outstanding” Ofsted rating, is seeking a creative Art Teacher to join their successful Visual Arts Department from January 2026. The school has a long-standing reputation for combining academic excellence with artistic flair. The Art Department enjoys exceptional exam results, with over 90% of GCSE students achieving grades 7–9 in recent years.
This full-time, permanent role involves teaching Art & Design from KS3 through to A Level. The successful candidate will deliver lessons across a wide range of mediums, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, and digital art. You will help students build strong portfolios and prepare them for success at GCSE and A-Level. The department regularly collaborates with local galleries and universities, offering real-world creative experiences. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to the school’s enrichment programme through clubs, exhibitions, and cross-disciplinary projects with English, Drama, and DT.
