A welcoming and well-regarded 11-18 school in Northampton is seeking a part-time Geography Teacher to join its Humanities team. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who values a supportive, friendly working environment and who wants to contribute to a department with a clear sense of shared purpose.

You will teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Edexcel), with the possibility of contributing to A-level Geography depending on experience. The role includes planning and supporting fieldwork activities within the local area, maintaining accurate records of student assessment data, and contributing to whole-school eco and sustainability initiatives. On your working days, you will also contribute to department planning meetings and occasional cross-faculty projects within the wider Humanities team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Geography and QTS

  • Strong subject knowledge across KS3–4; A-level experience welcomed

  • Confidence planning and supporting fieldwork activities

  • Good communication and organisational skills

  • Willingness to contribute to whole-school sustainability initiatives
