The Role

  • Teach Food Technology and Hospitality & Catering across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE/BTEC).

  • Plan and deliver practical lessons that cover nutrition, food provenance, and complex cooking techniques.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognized equivalent teaching qualification.

  • A background or degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.

  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).

  • The ability to engage students with diverse needs and backgrounds.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage practical ingredients and equipment.
