About the School
A well-established school in Andover is looking for a versatile Finance and HR Assistant to support its business administration team. This varied role offers the opportunity to work across two essential functions, helping maintain accurate financial records while ensuring staff documentation and HR processes are managed efficiently.
About the Role
You will provide administrative support across finance and HR, working closely with the school's business manager and relevant colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing invoices, purchase orders and routine financial transactions.
Maintaining spreadsheets, financial records and supporting documentation.
Assisting with staff onboarding and personnel record updates.
Tracking references, DBS checks and other pre-employment documentation.
Responding to routine finance and HR queries.
Supporting compliance monitoring and ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous finance, accounts or HR administration experience.
Experience in a school or education setting is highly desirable.
Strong numerical, organisational and administrative skills.
Confidence using Microsoft Excel and database systems.
Excellent attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.
An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
