A nurturing primary school in Hayes, West London is seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children and fostering their early development in a play-based, inclusive environment. The EYFS TA will work with children aged 3–5 years, helping them to develop academically, socially, and emotionally in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering EYFS lessons and activities
- Work with individual children and small groups to support learning
- Assist with phonics, early numeracy, literacy, and creative play
- Promote positive behaviour, self-confidence, and emotional wellbeing
- Support children with personal care when required (toileting, meals, dressing)
- Observe, assess, and record children’s development in line with EYFS expectations
- Prepare classroom resources and learning areas
- Support indoor and outdoor learning activities
- Foster independence, confidence, and social interaction
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

Essential Requirements
- Experience working in an EYFS, nursery, or early years setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification
- Experience supporting SEN within EYFS
- Paediatric First Aid or Safeguarding training
