This secondary school in Exeter is seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join its established Physical Education department. The role will involve teaching practical and classroom-based PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the successful candidate expected to deliver a varied and inclusive curriculum.
You will plan lessons that allow students to develop their physical skills, tactical understanding and knowledge of health and fitness. Equally important will be your ability to encourage students who may have different levels of confidence or sporting ability to participate positively.
The successful PE Teacher will contribute to the wider extracurricular life of the school. This may include supporting sports clubs, fixtures, competitions and enrichment activities. A willingness to get involved beyond normal lessons would therefore be welcomed.
You will also take responsibility for assessment, progress tracking and maintaining high standards of behaviour. The department works collaboratively, and you will be expected to share ideas and contribute to the ongoing development of the PE curriculum.

Salary
The salary for this Physical Education Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
