About the Role
As Exams Officer, you will take responsibility for the planning, administration and delivery of internal and external examinations, ensuring all processes meet awarding body and JCQ requirements. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full exam cycle, including entries, timetables, access arrangements coordination and results days
- Liaising with exam boards and ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines
- Coordinating the running of mock exams and internal assessments
- Managing exam-day logistics including rooming, seating plans, timetables and candidate information
- Recruiting, training and deploying invigilators and ensuring exam sessions run smoothly
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating key information to staff, students and parents
- Supporting post-results processes such as reviews of marking, access to scripts and appeals
This role requires excellent organisation, strong attention to detail and the confidence to manage multiple deadlines calmly and accurately.
