The Headteacher of this well-regarded secondary school in Essex is seeking to appoint a skilled and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join a well-established and forward-thinking DT department from January. Design & Technology is a valued subject within the school, supporting creativity, technical understanding, and problem-solving alongside strong academic expectations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a DT Teacher who enjoys delivering practical, well-structured lessons and developing students’ confidence in both design theory and hands-on making. The department is collaborative and well resourced, with clear schemes of work and a strong emphasis on safety, routine, and high-quality outcomes. You will teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to deliver GCSE depending on experience.
