We are seeking a creative, technically confident and forward-thinking Design Technology Teacher to join a respected Independent School in Essex from January. This is an excellent opportunity to teach highly motivated pupils across KS3–KS5 within a well-resourced DT department that values innovation, craftsmanship and high-quality outcomes.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, support curriculum development and contribute to a strong co-curricular programme that promotes design thinking, problem-solving and real-world application.

Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Design Technology, Product Design, Engineering or a related field
- PGCE / QTS
- Ability to teach DT across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Strong practical workshop skills and health & safety awareness
- Passion for creative, hands-on learning and high academic standards
