Role Overview
As a School Maintenance Technician, you will assist with maintaining the school's facilities and addressing routine maintenance requirements. You will help identify defects, carry out appropriate minor repairs and support the wider site team in keeping the premises in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Inspect fixtures, fittings and facilities for damage or wear.
- Identify and report hazards and repair requirements.
- Assist with maintaining doors, furniture and general fittings.
- Support preventative maintenance checks.
- Help prepare rooms and facilities for school activities.
- Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance supplies.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
- Liaise with contractors when specialist work is required.
- Follow health and safety procedures and school site policies.

Experience and Skills
