A vibrant, community-focused 11-16 academy in the West Midlands is seeking a part-time English Teacher to join its energetic English faculty. You will teach English Language and English Literature across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (AQA) on a 0.6 timetable, with small-group intervention sessions for Year 10 and Year 11 students forming part of your allocation. Responsibilities also include contributing to the department's reading enrichment programme, maintaining assessment records, and collaborating with the SENCo and pastoral team to support students with additional learning needs. The department values teachers who bring warmth, creativity, and high expectations into their classrooms in equal measure.

Requirements
Degree in English and QTS
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 English
Experience with literacy intervention or small-group teaching desirable
Effective behaviour management and a warm, consistent approach
Good collaborative skills, including working with SENCo and pastoral colleagues
