English Teacher required full-time from January 2026 at an independent day school for girls (ages 11–18) in Northamptonshire. Join a forward-thinking and well-resourced English department. We are seeking an English Teacher to join an academically ambitious independent girls’ school. The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across KS3 & KS4, with potential for A-Level responsibilities depending on experience. The department is collaborative and strongly supported, operating within a school known for excellent pastoral care and high expectations. This position is open to experienced teachers, ECTs, and suitably qualified overseas applicants holding recognised teaching credentials (including QTS or equivalent).
School Information: The school is part of the Girls’ Day School Trust and serves girls aged 11 to 18. The campus covers around 27 acres in Hardingstone, just outside Northampton town centre, with attractive grounds and modern facilities. Arts and performing arts are richly supported: there is a theatre/main hall capable of hosting concerts and performances, and a music room used for ensemble rehearsals (capacity approx. 40 standing, ~25 seated).
