The successful candidate will teach English Language and English Literature across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (AQA), alongside A-level English Literature in the sixth form. The faculty has a strong tradition of literary enrichment β including author residencies, theatre visits, and a student-run literary journal β and you will be expected to contribute actively to this programme. Responsibilities also include maintaining assessment records, contributing to marking standardisation, and supporting students preparing university personal statements where languages or literature are involved.

Requirements
Degree in English and QTS
Strong subject knowledge across KS3β5, including A-level English Literature
A genuine passion for literature, with breadth of reading and critical interest
