You would be working in a well-equipped dedicated English department teaching English to GCSE and A-Level across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department is highly collaborative and committed to delivering engaging lessons that develop students' reading, writing and analytical skills.
Students are encouraged to explore a broad and diverse curriculum that promotes creativity, critical thinking and confident communication. Lessons are carefully planned to challenge students while supporting progress across all ability levels.
The department has a strong track record of excellent outcomes and staff work collaboratively to share resources, intervention strategies and best practice. Teachers are encouraged to contribute positively to enrichment activities including reading clubs, theatre visits and creative writing opportunities.
