An independent day school in Bishop's Stortford is seeking an English Literature and Creative Writing specialist for a fixed-term role. The successful candidate will teach academically ambitious students and contribute to the school’s literary enrichment programme.
The Role
- English Teaching: Deliver English Language and Literature across KS3, GCSE and A-Level.
- Creative Writing: Develop students' narrative, descriptive and persuasive writing.
- Literary Study: Teach challenging texts and encourage independent interpretation.
- Examination Preparation: Support students with essays, coursework and examinations.
- Literary Enrichment: Lead writing workshops, competitions and reading events.
The Candidate
- Academic Background: A degree in English Literature, English Language or Creative Writing.
