Our Client is seeking a History ECT to join a high-achieving mixed secondary school in Enfield. The successful candidate will teach History at KS3 and KS4, contribute to engaging schemes of work and benefit from a comprehensive, supportive induction programme.

School Information: This 11 to 18 school serves around 1,200 pupils and has a strong track record of academic achievement, with 94 percent of students gaining grades 9 to 4 in English and Maths. The school is known locally for its orderly environment, high standards of behaviour and supportive pastoral systems. The Humanities faculty encourages independent enquiry, critical analysis and meaningful historical interpretation. History lessons are designed to develop students’ understanding of key periods, events and concepts, as well as their ability to form arguments and evaluate sources. The department is collaborative and well-resourced, with access to digital archives, textbooks and shared planning. ECTs receive one-to-one mentoring, regular CPD sessions, and a clear induction timetable covering key aspects of teaching and school life.
