The Role

The successful ECT of Geography will take responsibility for delivering the curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE), inspiring students with the dynamic nature of the subject. You will be immediately supported by a high-quality mentor and fully engaged with a bespoke ECT induction programme focused on practical skills development and impactful teaching. The ECT of Geography is expected to contribute actively to fieldwork planning and delivery, making the most of local and regional resources. This permanent, part-time post is an ideal fit for an ECT of Geography seeking professional stability with a balanced timetable. The department values strong subject knowledge and will encourage the ECT of Geography to share recent university-level learning with pupils. The appointed ECT of Geography will play a role in departmental assessment and tracking to ensure exceptional pupil progress.
